Buildings & Lodging

The Dining Hall is one of New Life Camp’s original buildings, overlooking camp’s private lake. Indoor and outdoor seating is available to meet every camper’s preference. Meals are served buffet style and tailored to your particular group.

The Café, often referred to as the Snack Shack, is a great place to relax and enjoy the company of fellow campers. Cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and camp merchandise can be purchased in the Café. It is a great place for small group meetings, game nights (board games and playing cards available), and hanging out. The Café seats 40-50 campers comfortably, and is open at your group’s convenience.

This is a leader only facility with the ability to accommodate families. Including a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry facility.

The newest cabins at New Life Camp, sleeps 16 per cabin, built in bunks, including 2 full size leader beds, utilizes Hillside Bathhouse

Separate shower houses for men and women, each with 3 shower stalls, one private bathroom & shower–handicap accessible

The most conveniently located, detached bunks, upper level sleeps 18, lower level sleeps 12, attached bathrooms & showers

Rustic log cabins with remodeled interior, sleeps 12 per cabin, built in bunks, includes 1 leader bed per cabin, utilizes Valley Dorm bathroom & shower facilities

50’x100’ gymnasium with 4 hoops, a variety of sports equipment/balls, black lights line the perimeter of the room for night games such as blacklight dodgeball, air conditioned

Loft area with GIANT games (Checkers, Chess, Jenga, Connect Four) arcade games and lounge area, perfect for small group meeting space, air conditioned

Newly renovated in 2019, seats 300 comfortably with padded chairs, 750 sq. ft. stage, 2 display TVs, 1 display projector, confidence monitor, (computer not provided by camp), Limited A/V equipment available upon request including: DMX stage lighting, 18 channel sound board, haze machine, stage pockets for instruments and microphones, dimmable house lights, bathrooms attached, air conditioned



Waterfront Activities

The beach is connected to our 5-acre private lake– to ensure safety, every camper must take a swim test and lifeguards are on duty during every scheduled activity. Life jackets and sand toys are available

A camp favorite, the Blob has two levels to choose from, sending your partner flying high, or bunny hopping into the lake. The blob is great for thrill seekers and fear conquerors alike

Feel the need for speed? To the side of the main beach area we have a 75 ft water slide built into the ground sending you straight into the lake

Campers can choose from canoes, paddle boats, or rowboats for a leisurely cruise around the lake

In the water you’ll find an entire obstacle course made up of the monkey dome, balance beam, and fox trot, and blockade from Aquaglide, as well as Rave’s 14’ high iceberg

The Splash Pad brings out the kid in everyone! It is a 40’x70’ tarp used for group games (shaving cream wars), and a giant slip and slide

Not into getting wet? We have a sand volleyball area right on the beach! (This is separate from the playground volleyball court)



Activities

Our full-size football field is perfect for any sport! We also have a ball diamond for Softball, Baseball, Kickball or whatever rendition of your favorite field game is! Our field can be striped to cater to your preferred sport

In the middle of camp, you will find a giant sandbox containing monkey bars, a kiddie slide, the tunnel, a 4-person teeter totter, and other playground equipment. Just outside of the sandbox are several sets of swings and carpet ball

Sand Volleyball, Basketball Court, Octoball, Carpet Ball, and 9 Square are other activities located in the central camp area

Inspected yearly by the state of Michigan amusement division, our 550’ line sends you zipping over the lake! Thrill seekers begin by getting strapped into a full body harness before heading over to climb the 30’ stair tower. Once you’re on your way across the lake you’ll end with a smile from cheek to cheek and a safe ground landing. The zipline may only be run by certified staff.

The paintball field is located in a partially wooded area complete with tire barriers, blockades, a viewing platform, and can manage up to 20 players at a time. There is an additional fee to cover the cost of CO2, masks, paint, and markers guns

This is the newest addition to new life camp! The course covers 18 holes, specially designed by member of the PDGA Tour. Discs provided

Upon your request, we have a variety of obstacle courses, a giant slide, and a bungee run, available for use. This is a heavy request so your help is necessary!

This is a 40 yard long range with a shooting platform and observation area, An electric clay thrower for clay pigeons, and bb guns are available upon request.

Encircling the lake and enclosed by nature, the prayer trail has scripture checkpoints to remind you to stay focused on God’s Word

Just as much fun can be had in the winter! Guests visiting during the winter season can enjoy the thrill of the tubing hill. This area is lit so daylight savings time won’t stop us!

Enjoy Pond Skating and Broom Ball on the ice rink! This area is also lit at night, and ice skates are available.

Nothing says camping quite like a bon fire! The group fire pit area has several picnic tables perfect for those who want to sit back and enjoy the warmth of the fire (also good for enjoying s’mores!)

This is not your average fire pit. With amphitheater style seating, and beautiful accent lighting, this area of camp has one of the best vibes! Chill and relax in the woods while enjoying the company of your fellow campers

We have access to canoe down the Au Sable river, Rifle river, or tube down the Au Sable river, canoes extra charge for shuttling
